Leroy is courageous as ever in the face of another of Loretta's compulsive shopping binges where she methodically runs up more credit card bills and puts Leroy even deeper in debt. Stoically, he delivers one of the best witticisms in the history of comics, but sadly, it's all for naught, as his acquaintance's mind is elsewhere, and Loretta's on too much of a high to notice. A tree has fallen.
